Built to make working on a computer easier.

DirektText started as a tool for turning spoken thoughts into editable text. The goal was simple: Capture the first draft faster and with less friction.

I built it because I wrote a lot of reports and wanted to make the process more comfortable.

Dictation felt more natural.

I could speak the first version, then edit the text I got back. That was faster, more comfortable, and easier than starting every report from a blank page.

Windows needed a practical option.

There also were not many satisfying tools for Windows. I wanted something practical, fast, reliable and tailored to the way I actually work.

The product philosophy.

DirektText should reduce interruptions and be easy to use. It creates the draft. You review, refine, and use it.

Made in Germany

DirektText handles professional speech, recordings, and written work. That makes privacy, clear terms, and GDPR/DSGVO obligations part of the product's foundation, not a badge added at the end.

Final GDPR/DSGVO claims need legal review before publication.

A few things to be mindful of.

Review
Speech-to-text can make mistakes; structured output still needs your judgment.
Consent
Meeting capture requires consent where recording is involved.
Honesty
We do not claim perfect output. You stay in control of the final version.
